A Pottery Lesson

Have you ever wanted to just try making your own piece of pottery on a potter's wheel? WaddleWorks Studio is where that desire comes to life. I have been making pots for nearly 30 years. I learned the art of clay at Ball State University in the '90s and have been super passionate about it ever since.  I have been teaching private lessons in my Trafalgar studio for more than 8 years.  I love sharing this joy with people.  There is nothing like taking a piece of clay, a piece of the earth and creating something useful. I have been so lucky to have been able to share my passion with my community and beyond. 

Pottery Lessons are scheduled on days and times that work for you and me.  I have 3 wheels and can accommodate up to 6 people at a time in a private setting. A lesson consists of a demonstration and then hands-on instruction.  You will create two pieces, usually a cup and a bowl, and then choose glazes for decoration. I will fire and glaze the work and fire again and then you pick up pieces 4-6 weeks later.  Pottery is fully functional, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
